Reed & Barton Advertisement from Everybody's Magazine 1914

This advertisement focuses on the "Colonial Style" and attempts to link it to a classical form of art that will never go out of style. It features the "Waverly" pattern.  Since this is from 1914 I think we are safe in assuming that its claims are directed against the Victorian decorative styles that preceded it. This advertisement is important because it shows the re-marketing campaign that silver companies went through as  taste preference in the decorative arts changed.
