This is an advertisement from House Beautiful in 1914. It contains examples of the Old Colony and Cromwell patterns. The makers listing is the International Silver Co. successors to the Meriden Britannia Co. which joined with other makers to form International in 1898. I do not know who the woman in the bonnet is but she appears quite often in advertisements for the1847 Rogers Bros. line of goods.

Reed & Barton Advertisement from Everybody's Magazine 1914
This advertisement focuses on the "Colonial Style" and attempts to link it to a classical form of art that will never go out of style. It features the "Waverly" pattern. Since this is from 1914 I think we are safe in assuming that its claims are directed against the Victorian decorative styles that preceded it. This advertisement is important because it shows the re-marketing campaign that silver companies went through as taste preference in the decorative arts changed.
